Carly Fiorina Is Double-Barrel Trouble! Any Sensible, Discerning, And Intelligent Individual Should Be Very Concerned About This Dangerously Divisive, Deceptive, Devious, And Potentially Vicious, Stupid, And Misguided Woman Who Did Endorse Ted Cruz! Always Remember That If She Is Ever Picked As Ted Cruz’s Vice Presidential Running Mate, And He Was Lucky Enough To Be Elected President–She’d Be First In Line To Replace Him If Disaster Ever Struck! Carly Fiorina Would Be A Very Bad And Dangerous Vice President And, I’d Hope And Pray That She Would Never Be Able To Be Our U.S. President!!

Disconcerting Tripwire – What Carly Fiorina Endorsing Ted Cruz Really Means…

Posted on March 9, 2016 by sundance

red_hair

Trying to explain the significance of the last few days, in relationship to the Ted Cruz candidacy, requires the intellectually honest observer to recognize and/or accept the increasingly likely probability: we have been facing a manufactured “false dilemma” longer than most may be willing to accept.

“False Dilemma” – the fallacy of false choice, or the fallacy of the false alternative, is a type of informal fallacy involving a situation in which only limited alternatives are considered, when in fact there is at least one additional option.

In essence, presidential candidate Ted Cruz has been presented, by those who gain leverage in the presentation, as an option – to the previous “establishment candidates“.

Under this assumption, the intent of the option (Cruz) is to block the observer (electorate / us) from considering any additional alternative which remains outside the control of the presenting entity (the DC power brokers, GOPe, Wall Street donor class).

In order to recognize the fallacy of false choice, the audience must engage the new  information while reevaluating their prior assumption, positions and options.

carly cropcruz and heidi

That said, Team Cruz has shown new evidence of being much further aligned with the GOPe than most political observers, and high-information voters, might be willing to accept.

Here’s why:

Adding the entire financial team of Jeb Bush which includes: Paul Dickerson of Houston, TX, Boyden Gray of Washington, DC, Charles Foster of Houston, TX, Reginald J. Brown of Washington, DC, Paula and Jim Henry of Midland, TX, and Nancy and Randy Best of Dallas, TX. shows that Ted Cruz is much further in alignment with the Bush clan than most previously recognized.

In addition, by Ted Cruz adding Neil Bush  Cruz is signifying an ideological alignment that is 180° divergent than most of the supporters of Ted Cruz would be aware of.  These alignments point to a direct acceptance that much of the story-line behind Cruz’s candidacy was false.

As a direct consequence, the fallacy of false choice within the option of Ted Cruz from the outset gains sunlight.

However, this new reality is challenging for many people to accept.  To those who cannot bring themselves to accept this paradigm shift, further evidence surfaces today with the endorsement of consummate insider, Carly Fiorina, who said:

“Last Tuesday we had a primary, and I walked into the ballot box,” [Fiorina] told a crowd of Cruz supporters. “I saw my name on the ballot, and it was kind of a thrill, but I checked the box for Ted Cruz.” (link)

That “last Tuesday” reference highlights Fiorina’s home residence (as we previously shared) in Virginia, not California as many people mistakenly think.   Fiorina has been the consummate “inside the beltway” politico, even though she was never in an elected position as a politician.

Fiorina worked for the John McCain campaign in 2008 as a surrogate.  She again worked in 2012 as an official campaign spokesperson for Mitt Romney.  Indeed, in the beginning of her own presidential bid last year, Carly Fiorina stated she was urged to run in 2016 due to a conversation with Mitt Romney.

So, we re-engage the intellectual honesty with a reminder of Carly Fiorina, and now find ourselves answering a nagging previous question.

Why did the Wall Street funders of the Ted Cruz campaign fund the origin of the Carly Fiorina campaign in 2015?

fiorina 1

$500,000 transferred from KtP1 (Keep The Promise) which is Ted Cruz’s Super-PAC, to CfA (Carly for America) Ms. Fiorina’s Super-PAC, in June of 2015.

What clarifies now, with this new information, is how the fallacy of false choice was being presented to us by the Wall Street financial team, the Globalists, last year.  Remember, even the FEC wanted know what they were doing (LINK).

Cutting through the intent here and getting to the substance of truth is really not too difficult, but you won’t find many outlets (new media or old) willing to go there. However, as you are aware for us the Truth Has No Agenda, and Sunlight Is The Best Disinfectant.

We begin by watching this video of Carly Fiorina appearing on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and the discussion of a Muslim candidate eligible as U.S. President:

Just sticking with raw data, and trying to avoid injecting opinion, now consider this:

CARLY FIORINA – “VISION 2010″: U.S. & ARAB ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES – U.S.-ARAB ECONOMIC FORUM – SEPTEMBER 29, 2003, DETROIT, MICHIGAN:

Thank you for those nice words, Mr. Chairman.

It’s an honor for me to be here this morning. This is the perfect place to host a meeting on the future of the Middle East. The leadership of Arab-Americans in this community – and in the state of Michigan – has been nothing short of dazzling, and I want to thank you for hosting us here this week.

A great deal of time will be spent at the conference this week focusing on the problems of the Arab world. I want to kick things off here today instead by asking you to imagine the possibilities…to imagine what the Gulf region would be like if Arab countries were at the forefront of the global economy…to imagine what the world would be like if Arab nations were the world’s leading force for enlightenment and inclusion…to imagine what the future would be like for a Middle East rooted not in conflict, but anchored in partnership.

Two years ago, less than two weeks after the tragedy of September 11th, I gave a speech in Minnesota in which I said it didn’t take much to imagine that kind of world because we have seen that world before. All it takes is for us to think back to another time, to a civilization that was once considered the greatest in the world.

It was a civilization that was able to create a continental super-state that stretched from ocean to ocean, and from northern climes to tropics and deserts. Within its dominion lived hundreds of millions of people, of different creeds and ethnic origins. One of its languages became the universal language of the world, the bridge between the peoples of a hundred lands.

And this civilization was driven more than anything, by invention. Its writers created thousands of stories. Its poets wrote of love, when others before them were too steeped in fear to think of such things. When other nations were afraid of ideas, this civilization thrived on them, and kept them alive.

While modern Western civilization shares many of these traits, as I said to the audience that day in Minnesota, the civilization I’m talking about, of course, was the Islamic world from the year 800 to 1600, which included the Ottoman Empire and the courts of Baghdad, Damascus and Cairo, and enlightened rulers like Suleiman the Magnificent – rulers who challenged our notions of self and truth; who contributed to our notions of tolerance and civic leadership; whose leadership led to 800 years of invention and prosperity.

As we meet to think about the civilization that exists on that same land today, I ask you to imagine for a moment what a leader like Suleiman would say if he could somehow be here today, and see what the world has become.

I think he would be pleased at how much the world has learned from the example of the open, cooperative society that enlightened the world all those years ago. The Islamic example has helped create a world where democracy and transparency and rule of law are empowering people and taking them to new heights. (read more)

Please read the entire speech and pay close attention to the closing paragraphs.

What you will note is an almost eerie similarity to current Secretary of State John Kerry vis-a-vis the “Jobs for Jihad” program he, and his globalist co-horts, have been advocating for the past three years.

Read everything written by Fiorina and then reference/remember the words used by State Department Spokesperson Marie Harf – they are almost identical.

carly megyn

Next example – look at the following reception by Professor Al-Hassani, the Chairman of FSTC, at the conference “La Deuda Olvidada de Occidente he is responding to the speech of Carly Fiorina and the intended audience in the Mid-East:

[…] In this presentation focus will be on the other manner by which history is distorted: that is, the suppression of centuries of contribution to modern civilisation by the Muslim world. This negligence is apparent in academia, in the media and in the educational curriculum and associated history books, especially those aimed at the general public. The focus on this issue is to alert communities as to the particular significance of the Muslim civilisation and its historical role in giving birth to much of modern science and technology.

The following words by a famous lady well describes this situation and the debt that world history owes to the civilisation created by Muslims. They were pronounced by Mrs. Carleton S. Fiorina, chairman, president, and CEO of Hewlett-Packard Company (1999-2005) in a discourse on 29 September 2003:

[…] When other nations were afraid of ideas, this civilization thrived on them, and kept them alive.

When censors threatened to wipe out knowledge from past civilizations, this civilization kept the knowledge alive, and passed it on to others. While modern Western civilization shares many of these traits, the civilization I’m talking about was the Islamic world from the year 800 to 1600, which included the Ottoman Empire and the courts of Baghdad, Damascus and Cairo, and enlightened rulers like Suleiman the Magnificent.

Although we are often unaware of our indebtedness to this other civilization, its gifts are very much a part of our heritage. (read more)

Professor Al-Hassani was rejoicing that Carly Fiorina was asserting without Islam there would be no U.S.A., no America, no exceptionalism. This is the exact approach of the U.S. State Department, Charles Rivkin Project, we originally exposed in 2012.

The Rivkin Project was/is a U.S. State Department program with a specific goal to remove national pride and identity in favor of a more global worldview of a collective society, a “multi-cultural” society. Again, these are not interpretations of her words, these are Fiorinas’ own words.

And yes, there are those who are now beginning to connect the dots to President Obama’s first foreign policy speech and travel. Where was it delivered? Cairo Egypt.

Does it make sense now how Fiorina came to be in contact with all those “world leaders” she brags about meeting?

If you need to finally stamp out any reservations or doubt you might have about this agenda; consider Carly Fiorina is also closely linked to the Clinton Global Initiative – SEE HERE ( <—scroll down the page) – providing leadership and mentorship within the Bill and Hillary CGI.

Troubled? You should be. Her globalist ideology is thinly veiled, and in my opinion what has unnerved many of the electorate who did not buy what she was selling.  Despite claims to the contrary, the U.S. voter is intelligent and have an innate sense when they are being misled:

♦ Carly Fiorina on Immigration: Pass the DREAM Act. For other undocumented immigrants, a direct path to citizenship is unfair. While running for the U.S. Senate in California in 2010, Fiorina said she supports the DREAM Act, which would give legal status to people who were brought to the U.S. illegally as children.

♦ Carly Fiorina on Climate change: It is real and man made. But government has limited ability to address it. Speaking in New Hampshire in February, Fiorina said there is scientific consensus that climate change is real and caused by humans.

♦ Carly Fiorina on Education: Supports Common Core – Set national standards but give local districts maximum control. No Child Left Behind was positive. In a position paper while running for the U.S. Senate in California, Fiorina strongly advocated for metric-based accountability in schools. She praised No Child Left Behind as setting high standards and Race to the Top for using “internationally bench-marked” measures.

♦ Carly Fiorina never hired after HP Job: […] Here are the facts: In the five years that Fiorina was at Hewlett-Packard, the company lost over half its value. It’s true that many tech companies had trouble during this period of the Internet bubble collapse, some falling in value as much as 27 percent; but HP under Fiorina fell 55 percent. During those years, stocks in companies like Apple and Dell rose. Google went public, and Facebook was launched. The S&P 500 yardstick on major U.S. firms showed only a 7 percent drop. Plenty good was happening in U.S. industry and in technology.

It was Fiorina’s failed leadership that brought her company down. After an unsuccessful attempt to catch up to IBM’s growth in IT services by buying PricewaterhouseCooper’s consulting business (PwC, ironically, ended up going to IBM instead), she abruptly abandoned the strategic goal of expanding IT services and consulting and moved into heavy metal.

At a time that devices had become a low margin commodity business, Fiorina bought for $25 billion the dying Compaq computer company, which was composed of other failed businesses. Unsurprisingly, the Compaq deal never generated the profits Fiorina hoped for, and HP’s stock price fell by half. The only stock pop under Fiorina’s reign was the 7 percent jump the moment she was fired following a unanimous board vote. After the firing, HP shuttered or sold virtually all Fiorina had bought. (read more)

Against this substantive backdrop, and considering all possible alternative explanations, a reasonable person can only conclude Ted Cruz was a “false choice” all along.

Erick Erickson Website “Resurgent” Paid By Pro-Cruz/Anti-Trump “Our Principles PAC”…

Posted on March 30, 2016 by sundance

Thanks to the candidacy of Donald Trump the financial intersection of money and political opinion, as guided by the monetary motives therein, has brought some amazing revelations to the surface.

House Budget Chairman Paul Ryans-ERIC-ERICKSON-large

These financial/media relationships have largely, and historically, remained hidden.  They have damned sure never been publicly, clearly, and regularly stated so the consuming audience would know the presentation was fraught with financial conflict.

♦ The Senate Conservatives Fund (PAC) purchasing massive quantities ($400,000) of Mark Levin’s books in exchange for favorable candidacy political opinion.  Conveniently Hidden by the radio host who avoids mentioning the financial conflict created.

Then again, Levin never informed his audience of his family working within the Staff of Senator Ted Cruz either.  Does Levin’s endorsement, when contrast against the crony-constitutional advocacy, clarify with a little sunlight?  You decide.

♦ Or how about the Breitbart Media enterprise being run via an $11 million purchase from Billionaire Robert Mercer, who also funded Ted Cruz’s Super-PAC “Keep The Promise 1”, to the tune of $10 million.  Little overlooked facts, never openly shared for news consumers to determine source motive.   Pesky Sunlight

♦ Maybe the Ben Shapiro website “The Daily Wire“, being funded by the billionaire Wilks Brothers, Levi and Farris, in Texas.  Who also fund Ted Cruz and his Super-PAC “Keep The Promise”.  Shapiro never publicly disclosed the financial/content conflict, or the extent therein.  Could Shapiro support any other candidate other than who his content owners approved of?  Again, you decide.  (Yep, Pesky Sunlight)

♦ The Chairman of Glenn Beck’s Mercury One charity, David Barton, jointly running the Pro-Ted Cruz Super-PAC “Keep The Promise”; also never put into the sunlight by Glenn Beck or his various media enterprises so the consuming audience could filter presented political opinion through the filter of fiduciary connections.  More Pesky Sunlight

These are just a few of the politically motivated – financially dependent – revelations we probably would never have known about were it not for Donald Trump presenting a genuinely conservative America-First platform; and as a direct consequence, the faux-constitutionalists having to reverse opinion simply to retain income.

♦ So it perhaps shouldn’t come as a surprise to find out that Erick Erickson’s media venture “The Resurgent“, is taking Super-PAC money from the (formerly Scott Walker advocates and financial backers) Ricketts family of Wisconsin who fund OUR PRINCIPLES PAC to the tune of $3,000,000 in February alone.

Yes, it appears there’s another conservative voice who can be added to the list of those whose opinions are conveniently tied to a financial incentive therein.

In addition to all of those in the Salem Media Communications network, along with Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, Ben Shapiro, Erick Erickson and anyone who is hosted upon the various media enterprises they front for…. all paid shrills dependent upon political graft.

Interesting indeed how the intersection of financial dependency drives the political ideology of these modern “conservative voices”.   However, this does increasingly explain how those same voices will stand and cheer for Mr. No-Budget/Omnibus, House Speaker Paul Ryan.

“Smaller government”?  Yeah, sure.

Ted Cruz Is The Ultimate Insider!

The Mask Is Officially Off – How Ted Cruz Is Funded By Biggest DC Insiders…

Posted on March 19, 2016 by sundance

Now that the presidential race is down to the ‘brass tacks phase’, and with the glaring reality of Team Jeb Bush, Team Mitt Romney endorsement, Team Lindsey Graham endorsement, Team Carly Fiorina endorsement, and the entire DC professional political class aligning themselves with Ted Cruz, it’s a good opportunity to highlight the uncomfortable truth for those new to the awakening.

A freshman, two-year Senator/Presidential Candidate, Ted Cruz was presented, by intentional Wall Street conduct, as an outsider; as “a fallacy of false dilemma“.  If you don’t know what “false choice” really means, click on the link ↑ to read the definition and see how easy it is to manipulate the electorate.

cruz McConnell

Cruz was never “an outsider“.  The intellectually honest political observer would have to detach themselves from all reasonable cognition to avoid accepting Ted Cruz:

  • Was part of George W. Bush’s administration.
  • Was part of George W Bush’s Florida recount team.
  • Was introduced to his wife Heidi (Condelezza Rice staffer) while working for Bush.
  • Has hired the entire operational arm of the Jeb Bush campaign team: Paul Dickerson of Houston, TX, Boyden Gray of Washington, DC, Charles Foster of Houston, TX, Reginald J. Brown of Washington, DC, Paula and Jim Henry of Midland, TX, and Nancy and Randy Best of Dallas, TX. Along with Neil Bush.

Those are facts.

So too, are the facts below.

♦  This is one of those ah-ha moments when several political variables seem to reconcile simultaneously. For those who doubted the Earlier Tripwire, here’s the evidence.

There is a Super-PAC called “Stand for Truth” registered out of Lexington Kentucky headed by a guy named Eric Lycan. [Here’s the link – search box “Stand for Truth”]

sft 6

Mr. Eric Lycan was Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s lawyer during his re-election campaign against Matt Bevin. Lycan also has deep tentacles within the entire GOPe apparatus, including the Chamber of Commerce.

You can confirm identity from the filing paperwork and the reported contact information which is the same as THIS LINK to the Dinsmore legal group.

sft 4

Link for FEC Filing [Again search box “Stand for Truth”]

sft 5 Eric Lycan

Link to Dinsmore Group Bio

So obviously Eric Lycan is a deep insider within GOPe circles:

  • He’s represented, and/or is representing, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
  • He also represents clients to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (Tom Donohue connection).
  • He’s a member of the National Republican Lawyers Board of Governors.
  • He was the Kentucky Chairman, Lawyers for Romney in 2012.

There’s no questioning his GOPe bona fides. However, here’s where things get really interesting.

Given his curriculum vitae and the direct connection to Mitch McConnell you might not expect to see this:

sft 3

It’s a pro-Ted Cruz Super-PAC. The filing above also shows they spent $42,000 to create digital advertising for Ted Cruz, and…

…..wait for it…

….. spent $192,594.00 for “RADIO ADVERTISING”.

It makes a person wonder which radio broadcasters might have picked up some of that Pro-Ted Cruz advertising money?

…and maybe that explains why THIS seemed to have struck such a nerve.

But wait, it gets better….

Eric Lycan’s “Stand for Truth” Super-PAC is not only Pro-Cruz, it is also Anti-Donald Trump. Producing and paying for airing of negative ads in Iowa against Candidate Donald Trump (examples found here):

sft 2

The filing above exhibits spending of $150,000 for negative digital ads in opposition to Donald Trump and $15,750.00 in production costs for the same.

And this is NO SMALL SUPER-PAC, they are spending $2,251,345.00 They are putting out a lot of money. More money than would come from small donors etc.

But again, big picture, why would a Mitch McConnell aligned type of DC insider, with strong connections to the U.S. CoC, be spending millions to support Ted Cruz and spend millions against Donald Trump?

These FACTS, not suppositions, FACTS, blow the “outsider Cruz” narrative a bit, no? These FACTS also seem to run exactly opposite of this Ted Cruz presentation of his relationship with Mitch McConnell, no?

Exactly the opposite seems to be going on. A DC PAC pro-Cruz and anti-Trump, has the very distinct odor of yet another Cruz-like quid-pro-quo (TPA maybe).

mcconnell ryanlindsey graham endorses Ted Cruz

trump rubio and cruz handshake

The “Never Trump” movement is dependent on the electorate  remaining oblivious to the UniParty scheme.  Once people wake up, the DC machine is done….

Stephen K. Bannon And Breitbart.Com Are Covertly Backing And Pushing Ted Cruz!

The Breitbart Media Group is financially backed and funded by Hedge-fund billionaire Robert Mercer. Mercer was/is the originating financial backer for the Ted Cruz “Keep the Promise” (KtP 1, KtP2 and KtP3) Super-PACs. Mercer is also the financial backer behind Cambridge Analytica.

Cambridge Analytica is the receiver of the contact information provided to Breitbart when you participate in their on-line Presidential Poll. Stephen K. Bannon and Robert Mercer have jointly worked on this project called “Cambridge Analytica”

In essence, when you participate with the Breitbart poll, you are sending your personal information into a data-base controlled by the proprietary interests of Robert Mercer, Cambridge Analytica. The Ted Cruz campaign then uses the data collected to fund-raise on behalf of the Campaign.
…
It would appear the entire reason for Breitbart.Com to put their Presidential Preference Poll together was to gather information on visitors for later distribution to the Ted Cruz campaign, with the expressed intention of micro-targeting those participating visitors…

Beck-Sean-Rush

Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh all boost specific groups — for a price.  AP Photos

Top radio talkers sell endorsements

By Kenneth P. Vogel and Lucy McCalmont

06/15/11 04:36 AM EDT

If you’re a regular listener of Glenn Beck’s radio show and you wanted to contribute to a political group that would advance the populist conservative ideals he touts on his show, you’d have plenty of reason to think that FreedomWorks was your best investment.

But if you’re a fan of Mark Levin’s radio show, you’d have just as much cause to believe that Americans for Prosperity, a FreedomWorks rival, was the most effective conservative advocacy group. And, if Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity are who you listen to, you’d be hearing a steady stream of entreaties to support the important work of the Heritage Foundation.

Story Continued Below

That’s not coincidence. In search of donations and influence, the three prominent conservative groups are paying hefty sponsorship fees to the popular talk show hosts. Those fees buy them a variety of promotional tie-ins, as well as regular on-air plugs – praising or sometimes defending the groups, while urging listeners to donate – often woven seamlessly into programming in ways that do not seem like paid advertising.

“The point that people don’t realize,” said Michael Harrison, founder and publisher of the talk media trade publication TALKERS Magazine, “is that (big time political talk show hosts) are radio personalities – they are in the same business that people like Casey Kasem are in – and what they do is no different than people who broadcast from used car lots or restaurants or who endorse the local roofer or gardener.”

The Heritage Foundation pays about $2 million to sponsor Limbaugh’s show and about $1.3 million to do the same with Hannity’s – and considers it money well spent.

“We approach it the way anyone approaches advertising: where is our audience that wants to buy what you sell?” Genevieve Wood, Heritage’s vice president for operations and marketing. “And their audiences obviously fit that model for us. They promote conservative ideas and that’s what we do.”

Last month, in the midst of a flurry of scrutiny of GOP presidential candidates’ stances on health insurance mandates similar to one included in the 2010 Democratic healthcare overhaul, Limbaugh took to the airwaves to defend Heritage’s past support for such a proposal.

“The Heritage Foundation to this day says they are being impugned and misrepresented in terms of their advocacy for such a thing,” Limbaugh said, explaining that the venerable think tank “abandoned the idea once they saw it implemented” and realized “it doesn’t work.”

Limbaugh, who has been a paid Heritage endorser since 2009, said the reversal did nothing to detract from the “profound … respect for Heritage. Heritage is the gold standard. Heritage was every bit as involved in Reaganism as Reagan was, and nothing’s changed.”

Levin, whose endorsement deal with the tea party organizing group Americans for Prosperity started last summer, was similarly protective of his sponsor last year after President Barack Obama singled out the group in making the case that anonymously funded attack ads were distorting the midterm elections.

“Americans for Prosperity is a magnificent organization that people join voluntarily. You. Me,” Levin said on his syndicated radio show. Obama, Levin continued, “wants you to hate Americans for Prosperity. So if he wants you to hate it, then you should embrace it, and promote it, and support it and join it, because it’s effective.

How the Koch Brothers Orchestrated the Shutdown

10/28/2013 03:11 pm ET | Updated Jan 23, 2014
1.9 K
  • Eric ZuesseInvestigative historian

I covered previously the decades-long Koch-operation that got us to where we are (see those earlier posts here, and here, and here, and here). I shall now describe the money-trail from there to Senator Ted Cruz, who directly headed the shutdown-effort in the U.S. Congress.

The two chief contributors to Cruz’s political career donated over a million dollars to it (and no other entity donated as much as $100,000 to it). As one of my earlier posts had noted, opensecrets.org shows that the top sources of contributions to Mr. Cruz’s political career were Club For Growth, and Senate Conservatives Fund, which together donated over a million dollars to it. Open Secrets also explained that the #5 contributor, Goldman Sachs, additionally managed his money and provided his health insurance, and that his wife is a vice president of GS. Moreover, the #17 contributor to Cruz, Berkshire Hathaway (headed by a “Democrat,” Warren Buffett, who prominently mouths against Republican policies), hired Baker Botts as their law firm, and BB was the #8 Cruz donor. So, as this example (BH) shows, Cruz actually had bipartisan support among the aristocracy.

In fact, this bipartisanship is also shown when one probes yet deeper: for example, Berkshire Hathaway’s top ten recipients of political cash during 2011-12 were, in order: Republican Governors Association, (Karl Rove’s) American Crossroads, Democratic Governors Association, Republican State Leadershp Committee, Republican National Committee, Mitt Romney for President, National Republican Congressional Committee, (Rick Perry’s) Make Us Great Again, Democratic National Committee Services Corp., and National Republican Senatorial Committee. Two of those ten recipients are Democratic, but they received only 17% of the total BH political dollars. Republicans received the other 83%. So, even some “Democratic” aristocrats have been heavily funding the Republicans who caused the shutdown and who threatened to violate the 14th Amendment by bringing the U.S. Government into default on its existing debts.

Here now is some background on those two top funders of Cruz’s career:

The Club for Growth, which was the top donor ($700,000+) to Cruz, was founded in 1999 by Steve Moore. As Right Wing Watch has noted, “Before founding the Club for Growth, Moore was the director of fiscal policy at the Cato Institute, and has stayed on as a Senior Fellow.”

Here is how iron the Koch’s control over the Cato Institute was, and is: David Weigel at slate.com bannered on 25 June 2012, “Ed Crane Steps Down to End Koch Brothers’ Attempted Coup at Cato,” and Weigel reported that the Kochs were firing Crane (who by that time was America’s longest-serving think-tank CEO), because he wasn’t doing a good enough job to “provide intellectual ammunition that we can then use at Americans for Prosperity and our allied organizations” in order to oust Barack Obama and the Democrats, and replace them with Republicans. When the Kochs had provided the start-up money for Cato in 1976, they became its controlling owners, and now they were firing its creator, Crane, so as to assist Mitt Romney’s 2012 Republican Presidential campaign. Subsequently, Weigel, who was already working under a false headline that called this firing (of the since-the-founding leader of Cato, their employee Ed Crane) as being no coup but only an “Attempted“ coup, softened Slate’s account even further. He changed it to say that the Kochs had actually lost what they wanted, and that the integrity of their “think tank” was maintained, because the Kochs hadn’t been able to boot also a dissident board-member. This, now the third version of Weigel’s story, got an even softer headline: “Cato at Peace.” The key quotation that had been in the original version, “provide intellectual ammunition that we can then use at Americans for Prosperity and our allied organizations,” wasn’t even included in the final version of Weigel’s news report, but there was, finally, added to it a shocking admission, buried right in the middle of the third version, an admission that should have been at very the top or bottom of each one of its two prior versions: “Disclosure: I worked at Reason magazine, which got Koch funding, for two-and-a-half years.” In other words: it seems that, throughout his reporting on this, Weigel didn’t want to offend his past employers (ultimately the Kochs), who might, after all, someday become, yet again, his employers. But Slate was apparently conflicted about whether to report at all on this blockbuster news story of his – their editors not only gave it deceptive headlines, but they also let slip in its first two versions the reporter’s possibly compromised position reporting on it.

(Disclosure: I won a Mencken Award for the Year’s Best Investigative News Report for an article that I was commissioned to do for Reason in 1981, but I was never employed by Reason.)

As the Right Wing Watch report also noted regarding the leadership of the Club For Growth: “Board Members: CFG President Pat Toomey; Vice President Chuck Pike [who was Toomey’s long-time buddy]; Richard Gilder, formerly Chairman of the Manhattan Institute; and Thomas Rhodes, President of National Review magazine,” and the CFG is “associated with a variety of right-wing organizations, including the Heritage Foundation.” Each one of those entities and persons has been the recipient of much Koch “charitable” cash, even besides the payments for leadership in the CFG.

Club for Growth was also overwhelmingly the largest direct donor to Jim DeMint’s political career during 2007-2012 ($157,067 as compared to the #2 direct donor, Scana Corp., which is a S.C. energy company, $49,475); Koch Industries itself was #6 (at $22,000); Club for Growth was also the largest direct donor throughout DeMint’s entire political career, but the #2, again Scana Corp., gave two-thirds as much, far closer; Koch was #12. In other words: the longer that DeMint was in politics, the more impressed that the Club for Growth and the Kochs became with his performance. Perhaps that’s why, in 2012, they handed him the leadership of Heritage Foundation, and a huge hike in his pay, to over a million dollars a year.

The #2 Cruz donor, the Senate Conservatives Fund, had been set up by the then-Senator Jim DeMint in 2008, and it funded the far-right Republican Pat Toomey’s win of a Pennsylvania U.S. Senate seat from the merely conservative Republican incumbent U.S. Senator Arlen Spector, and it funded the far-right Republican Marco Rubio’s win of a Florida U.S. Senate seat against the merely conservative former Florida Republican Governor Charlie Crist. Then, DeMint’s CFG funded Ted Cruz’s replacing Republican Kay Bailey Hutchinson as a Texas U.S. Senator. DeMint was able to do all of that because he had enjoyed massive funding from the Kochs and their friends (including Toomey). As Polluter Watch headlined on 6 December 2012, “Jim DeMint and Heritage Foundation Awash in Koch Brother Money.” However, DeMint’s backing by the Kochs was actually far greater than merely the Kochs’ money; the Kochs were this nation’s biggest “bundlers”: DeMint was backed also by the Kochs’ hundreds of billionaire and centi-millionaire friends, whom the Kochs had nurtured during decades, in their joint long campaign to take over the U.S. Government and to turn American democracy into a fascist government, controlled by a mega-corporate-elite behind closed doors, supported in this effort by religious fundamentalists such as Jim DeMint himself, who was a member of “the C-Street Family.” The Kochs’ father, Fred Koch, had been a fundamentalist Christian co-founder of the John Birch Society, whose spin-off in 1981, which was/is the highly secretive fundamentalist Christian theocratic-aristocratic Council for National Policy, awarded his son Charles Koch their “Free Enterprise Award” in 1999. The great investigative journalist Lee Fang managed to obtain Koch’s acceptance-speech transcript, in which Charles condemned the French Revolution (which beheaded the aristocrats), and said that “the highest form of charity” is “dispensing with charity all together” and replacing it “by enabling your fellow humans to … earn their own living.” In other words: he was saying that the public depend upon the rich in order to be able to survive. He opposed not only obligatory social-welfare donations via taxes, but even voluntary “charity,” and favored instead just “freedom” – unlimited greed. The underlying view had been expressed by the Scrooge character in Dickens’s famous A Christmas Carol. Charles Koch heaped praise upon four major organizations that his foundations financed: Heritage Foundation, Citizens for a Sound Economy, Federalist Society, and George Mason University. He also referred to his pride at receiving “the Richard De Vos Award. Because, to me, Rich exemplifies, as much as anybody, both what I call principled entrepreneurship and dedication to the advancement of a free and civil society.” However, for the general public, he has refered to it instead as the “Free Enterprise Award,” which was its other name. His address ended, “I’m dedicated to living by and advancing these principles and values. In that, I echo Martin Luther.”

“Keepthemhonest” at Daily Kos headlined on 24 September 20013, “Ted Cruz’s ‘Defund’ Is a Fundraising Gimmick for Koch Bros Org to Rake in Millions,” and he said that, “Ted Cruz claims that he started the ‘dontfundit’ website, but in reality all the donations go to Koch brothers’ organizations. … Cruz did not start that website at all, Koch brothers did.” He noted: “Click on ‘Donate’ button and it says the money goes to: Senate Conservative Fund.” And that’s true; the suckers are paying directly into that Demint-controlled political slush fund, which was seed-capitalized by the Kochs; this supercharges the Kochs’ billionaire-bundling operation, which pumped $300,000+ into Cruz’s “election.” (Only the campaign of Jeff Flake in Arizona received more from it.)

The Koch machine has now been rather well documented, via leaks from the Kochs’ periodic secret bundling-conferences. On 6 September 2011, Gavin Aronsen at Mother Jones bannered, “Exclusive: The Koch Brothers’ Million-Dollar Donor Club,” and he provided a partial list of the people who had donated $1,000,000 to that year’s fund. Just four days earlier, Brad Friedman at his blog had headlined “TRANSCRIPT: ‘Inside the Koch Brothers’ 2011 Summer Seminar’ – Charles Koch’s Remarks,” and he noted a few names that Aronson’s report omitted: As credited in Charles’s speech, they were: “The Ciokas,” “Kelly Friedman,” The Patricks,” “The Traytellas,” “and then ten more will remain anonymous.” Those 40 individuals and couples had put in more than $40 million, to be divied up by Charles, who is really the brains behind the operation. (David is better-looking, but he’s just a fascist socialite; so, he’s sometimes fawned over by Democratic aristocrats, such as Kathleen Kennedy – and, of course, by others on the boards of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Metropolitan Opera, MIT, and the other non-political institutional recipients of his largesse.)

A more extensive sourcewatch list of “Koch Event 2010-06 Attendees” includes a substantial crossover with the member-list of the Council for National Policy, which is the broader theocratic-aristocratic secret organization that also meets behind closed doors collectively to evaluate Republican Presidential candidates, and to choose which ones will be propagandized to the faithful masses on Sunday mornings. This Koch Event list had 165 individual or couple-guests, including many billionaires and many media personalities such as Glenn Beck; some people who were both, such as Philip Anschutz, the oil billionaire who also owns newspaper chains; and I chose one person whom I hadn’t heard of, to look up on the internet: Bill Walton. He was identified there as “Real Estate, Allied Capital.” He’s not much on the web, but there is an excerpt from a speech by him; it’s at David Einhorn’s site for Einhorn’s book condemning fund managers whose crookedness he describes there. Walton was the CEO of one of these funds, and Einhorn’s headline there is “CEO Bill Walton Espousing Zero Tolerance for Corporate Improprieties,” the presumption being that Einhorn was intending to parade Walton as the very the epitome of hypocrisy. Perhaps this was more than a squabble between aristocrats.

In the Middle Ages, France had “The Three Estates”: Aristocrats, Clerics, and Commoners. Just prior to the French Revolution, “The Four Estates” of the Realm became the Aristocracy, the Clerics, the Middle Class, and the Peasants. After the Revolution, the Press came to be called “The Fourth Estate,” because peasants were simply ignored (or else re-blended into “Commoners” along with the merchants), and the Aristocrats (whomever of them still survived, or else rose up anew) bought printing presses and started the propaganda-busineses, which certainly were important determinants of the government, and so had to be granted their own “Estate,” “The Fourth Estate.” Kochville (“the libertarian movement”) is merely the latest embodiment of that type of class-driven polity, but it cloaks itself in “the free market,” as if the freedom that they seek is really for any social class or “Estate” other than their own: the aristocracy, whom they think of as simply “the job-creators,” while holding workers in (and treating them with) contempt, as being merely replaceable, if not expendable. Economic hierarchy is their only morality, because they’re at the top of it!

Notes: I quite often listen to some of the following radio talk show hosts, but the more I find out about their connections to some of the above groups and entities(and there are many more), I realize that we have to keep a very skeptical eye on them and a very discerning attitude about them and everything that they say!—Considering who they support, etc. (they all appear to be very well paid and rewarded for all of their efforts to promote entities and ideologies that they, hopefully, believe in?–(or, they could be guilty of promoting hypocrisy for pay!). This Includes any of their support and endorsements for political candidates as well as political donors and action groups, etc.!

Just A Few: The More You Dig, The More Connections You Find!

Rush Limbaugh–Heritage Foundation, Etc.

Sean Hannity–Heritage Foundation, Etc.

Glenn Beck– Freedom Foundation, Etc.

Mark Levin–Americans For Prosperity, Etc.

Breitbart News and all of it’s talking heads–Club For Growth, Ted Cruz, Etc.

—When you think about some of the very open supporters of Cruz like Glenn Beck and Mark Levin, and who knows who else is covertly supporting him?—and having some knowledge of his strong political insider connections!— it’s hard to believe that Cruz is anything but Well Connected to Big Money and The Establishments, both left and right!
